HI I am new to stock market and i was wondering if some one can help me out figure out some simple stuff like what are the good and reliable technical indicator for screening stocks; what is P/E & EPS means how does it help to evaluate stock, what time frame is good to see past records and if you know any good and reliable website or online investment adviser. basically I have money to invest but don't know how to invest it and where to invest it. N e help would b gr8 thanks.......

Go to your local library and check out "Value Line". It will have all the information you need. ValueLine for stocks, MorningStar for mutual funds are invaluable investment tools.

P/E - is price to earnings ratio. EPS - is earnings per share. May I suggest investing in a mutual fund before investing directly in the stock market. You can invest in mutual funds until you build your knowledge of the stock market. Research is absolutely key to smart investing.































Motly Fool - fool.com is good. I rely on S&P reports.
